The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act is a huge deal to the Vice President of the United States, Joe Biden.
“It’s a pretty big f*%king deal!” to be exact!
Apparently Mr. Vice President either didn’t notice that the podium microphone was indeed on, or perhaps her didn’t care, or thought he was being too quiet. Whatever the case, it is awesome to hear just how excited he was to pass such a monumental bill.
You have to watch the video with the sound turned up pretty loud, but you can definitely hear what he says. I was watching while out to lunch with my family and I could not hear from a regular TV. But when I got home and saw it posted all over the net, I LOLed with the rest of the country. Thank goodness for youtube videos! Things like this would not have been such a big deal with out being able to share them internationally!
Whether you agree with the bill or not, you can tell that the President and Vice President believed in it and are proud of their work, and as a proud American I appreciate that. Personally, I am excited about the bill!
